GYHO 2012 -SIMPLE PLAN @ Yokohama Bay Hall

行ってきました！シンプルプランのライブ！！！

大好きなシンプルプランが来日！しかも地元横浜に来るということで、数ヶ月前からチケット取ってワクワクしていました！！

結婚してから一度もライブに行っていないので、2008年ぶり…最後に行ったのもシンプルプランで、カールおじさんと一緒でした。今回またまた夫、リズム感がなくてイマイチノリきれないカールおじさんと行ってきました。横浜ベイホールは４年ほど前のYellowcardぶり。

うちのピエは私の両親に預けて…初めて夜にお留守番させるので、ちょっと心配でしたが。

We went to the SIMPLE PLAN concert at Yokohama Bay Hall!! I was too excited their coming to my hometown!!! I got the tickets several months ago and looked forward to it. I hadn't been to any gigs since I got married in 2008. The last one was also Simple Plan and with Carl. This time I joined it with my husband, Carl again.

Our son stayed at my parents but I was a bit worried because it's the first time for him to spend a night without me.

A Canadian band, TEN SECOND EPIC "heated the floor" (as French say), and they're really awesome! Carl and I laughed when we found out that the guitarist (or bass? I'm not sure) was a man because he was rocking so hard that we couldn't see his bearded face with his long hair:-p After the show we saw them selling T-shirts at the entrance and they looked friendly, too. (I regret that there were too many people to talk with them. We just exchanged a few words).
前座のカナディアンバンド、TEN SECOND EPICもよかったです！！すごく盛り上がっていたし、元気をもらいました。きれいな長髪のギタリスト（ベース？）がいて、あら、女性かしら、と思ったら、すんごいおひげの男性で、カールおじさんと顔を見合わせて笑ってしまった（失礼）。超ロックしていたので、顔が見えなかったの…。

And then there they were! As far as I remember, they sang: Shut Up, Jumo, When I'm Gone, Addicted, You Suck At Love, Astronaut, Summer Paradise, My Alien, Can't Keep My hands Off You, Jet Lag, Loser of the Year, Love Is a Lie, This Song Saved My Life, Thank You, I'd Do Anything, Perfect...and Welcome to My Life, I'm Just A Kid......am I forgetting something?

ほんとーーーにシンプルプラン最高！！実は連日の寒さもあり、腰痛だったんだけど、ぴょんぴょんしてたら何のその。ただ、最終的に足と喉が痛くなったけど。あーしかし、産後を言い訳にできないけど、もう少し体力つけなきゃ。

来日するバンドは日本の最新ギャグを披露することがしばしばあるけど、今回もピエールが日本で試すとツイートしていて、楽しみにしていたのですが、オリラジのチャラ男、藤森くんと、家政婦のミタのモノマネでした（笑）セバスチャンの「マルモのうた」もよかった（笑笑）

They're really great! To be honest, I had a back-ache for the coldness but it's completely gone while I was jumping with them. I have sore throat and legs instead. But I thought I should exercise more... I can't make excuses of giving birth anymore.

They're really good at talking, too. Real entertainers. I would love to see them again with my son some day! Pierre tweeted that he'd try a new Japanese joke before the audience. It's always funny that bands from overseas do this. Sebastien singing a popular song of last year sang by little kids was so much fun, too (rofl).

We got home around half past nine, it took a while to get out of the hall. I didn't think it was this crowded last time... We knocked on my parents' door and found our son sleeping on a couch. When I saw it, my Simple Plan- occupied head was kind of blown out. I felt like getting back to my single life for a short period of time, but I am a mom and I love my son more than anything else.

彼らは歌の合間のお話も楽しくて、本当にエンターティナーだなぁと思います。いつか息子と行きたい！！

家に着いたのは9時半頃。会場を出るまでにけっこう時間がかかったな。前回はそこまで混雑した印象がなかったんだけど…。実家に子供を引き取りに行ったら、ソファでスヤスヤ寝ていて、頭の中がシンプルプランでいっぱいだったのが、だいぶ吹き飛んでしまった。ちょっとだけ独身気分に戻ったけど、やっぱり私お母さんなのだなぁ。

平成24年 2012

新年あけましておめでとうございます。
年末年始も急ぎの仕事が入ってばたばた、せっかくの新居の大掃除もまともにできず・・・でも掃除は暖かくなってからのがいいかな、と言い訳してみたり。
Happy New Year 2012!! I'd been so busy because I had some work to do until today. I regret that I couldn't clean up our new house as much as I wanted. But I think it should be easier to clean the house when it gets warmer:p

今年は三方を（ネットで）買いました！小さくてかわいいです。来年はもうちょっと飾り付けようかな。うしろにキリスト誕生をあらわした人形、クレッシュも置いてありますが。
I bought the little table for rice cake decoration. It's small and rather cute. There are also creche behind.

ことしのおせち。シンプルかつ好きな物、がテーマです（笑）
フランスの重：ポム・ドーフィン（ポテトフライ）、ベトラーブ（ビーツ）、フォアグラのパテ　一の重：田作り、昆布巻き、紅白なます、伊達巻き
二の重：栗きんとん　そしてお雑煮。
Homemade oseshi: French box: Pomme dauphine, betterave (beet), foie gras du canard Box1:Tazukuri, kobumaki, namasu, datemaki Box2: kuri-kinton (chestnuts & sweet potato). And ozoni (soup).

花びら餅とお抹茶。これも新年には欠かせません。みそあんにゴボウ、なんでゴボウなんだろう？と気になってwikiを見たら、なかなか興味深い歴史が。
Hanabira mochi (flower petal rice cake : directly translated) is also for New Year's Day. It is a sweet miso-an (miso and bean jam) and burdock covered with rice cake.

メロン Melon

夕食にラクレットチーズと生ハムをいただきました。
臭いけど、おいしい！でも両方しょっぱい。。。すごい組み合わせだ。
We had raclette cheese and jambon sec for dinner.
It's smelly, but good. But they're both too salty!!

最近やっとそれなりに焼けるようになってきたバゲット。小さく切って、一緒に食べました。
I think now I can bake baguettes better than before. We cut them in pieces and ate together.

果物好きな息子は、「メロン」が発音できるようになりました。もっと大好きな「みかん」はまだ難しいみたいで、口はその発音をしようとしているけど、音が出ていない。
My son, who loves fruits, can pronounce "melon" now. He likes clementines better but it seems to be difficult for him to pronounce it. His mouth is trying to mimic, but the sound doesn't come out.

ところで、メロンの生ハム添えってあるけど、「なんで甘いメロンに生ハム！？」と思ったのは私だけではないのでは？
By the way, I couldn't understand "melon with salted (cured) ham" because melons are for dessert for me (and I guess for many of Japanese people).

でも、フランスに行った時、メロンは前菜で出て来た。向こうではデザートよりやはり野菜として食べられているのかな。今更ながら、生ハムメロン添えに納得。でも別々に食べる方が好きです。
But when we were in France, we had melon slices for appetizer. It's true that melons are vegetable. Now I understood "melon with salted ham" although I prefer to eat them separated.

Saint Nicolas 聖ニコラ祭

12月6日は聖ニコラの日。ということで、週末に友人を招いて「聖ニコラの茶会」を催しました。盛大に友人を招いたのは初めてなので、House Warming Partyでもありました。
December 6th is Saint Nicolas! We invited our friends and had Saint Nicolas Tea Party at home. It was officially the first time to invite many people so it was also a House Warming Party.

フランスは一部でしか祝われないようですが、カールおじさんが幼少期を過ごしたルクセンブルグやドイツで祝われるそうです。サンタのモデルと言うだけあり、赤い服を着て、暖炉に靴と、ニコラさんが乗る動物のためのニンジンや、ニコラさんへのお菓子を置いておくと、翌朝プレゼントがあるとのこと。
Saint Niclas isn't celebrated all over France, but several regions. It's a festival in Germany and Luxembourg where Carl spent his childhood. Saint Nicolas is said to be a model of Santa Claus, he's in a red costume, we put shoes, carrots for the animal of him, and cookies for Saint Nicolas near fireplace and you'll find presents from him in the following morning.

クリスマスと丸かぶりなので、こちらは小さなプレゼントにするのが、カールおじさん家の習わしだとか。
It's mostly like Christmas so they give small presents in Carl's family.

おもてなしには、マナラという聖ニコラの形（というか人形）のパンとシュトーレンです。中のマジパンは今回ヘーゼルナッツで作りました。
I baked manilas de la Saint Nicolas (like gingerbread man) and a stollen. The marzipan inside was made of hazelnut powder.

あー楽しかった＾＾
息子ももうあまり人見知りしなくなってきたし。
It was so much fun!
My son weren't that timid, either.

うちには暖炉などないので、玄関からどうぞ〜ということで。
We don't have fireplace so we put in the entrance.

2 semaines...

フランスのグランパパとグランママンが帰ってしまいました。。。
２週間、これでもかとイベントを詰めこみ、すごく疲れたけど、すごく楽しかった・・・。
Grandpapa and grandmaman left Japan... We'd done so many things during the two weeks. We were very tired but it was so fun.

天候もよく、例年よりあたたかな秋で、すでに冬の気候のパリから来た両親はそれだけでもよろこんでいました。まぁ、今まで真夏の最悪な時期と、真冬の寒い時にしか来たことなかったからね。
The weather was great which was rather warmer than usual. Grandparents who came from Paris, almost in winter, were so happy with that. Well, they came here only in terribly humid summer and in cold winter....

地元の農園で芋掘りしたり、秋祭りに行ったり、自転車で買い物に行ったり。
We dig up sweet potatoes at a local farm, went to autumn festivals, going shopping by bicycle...

５人で箱根にも行きました。温泉や紅葉を楽しみ、フランス人には特になじみの深い「星の王子さま」ミュージアムへ行ったり、富士屋ホテルでセレブなティータイムを楽しんだり。
（まぁ、基本的にピエさんがゆっくりさせてくれませんでしたが）。
We visited Hakone together, too. We enjoyed the hot spring and the beautiful colors of the leaves. The main purpose was Musee du Petit Prince de Saint-Exupery a Hakone. Le Petit Prince is famous in France (no wonder, the author is French). The afternoon tea at Fujiya Hotel was gorgeous!
(but I must say that Pierre never let us take our time...).

両親はお庭仕事もいっぱい手伝ってくれました。その間、私は仕事を進めることもできました。だいぶ片付いたお庭で焼きそば作って食べたり…。
They also helped us with gardening. While they're working on it, I was able to do my work, too. The garden looks a lot better and we cooked and ate yakisoba there.

楽しい時間はあっと言う間に終わってしまい、気が抜けてしまいました。ピエさんも初めてお熱出しちゃったりして…。気がつけば今年もあと２ヶ月ないし、クリスマスパーティーの準備でもして、気持ちを持ち上げるか…。
The happy moments passed so fast. I am really bored now. Pierre had a first fever in his life, too. Less than 2 months are left in 2011. I'll make myself busy again with holiday season...

チューとBisous

ちょっと前から，「チューして」というと、人差し指で顔をぷすっとさすように。いつも、「ちょっと違うんだけどなぁ…」と訂正を試みていたのですが…。
It's been a while since he started to point(stick) at my face when I say "kiss me". I always said "It's not really what I meant..." and tried to correct him.

パパがフランス語で「ママにチューして」と言うと、トコトコと近づいて来て、ほっぺを寄せていました（私が立っていると、脚に。座っていれば、ほっぺに）。フランスのあいさつのキスは、ほっぺとほっぺを合わせて「チュッ」と音だけさせる（本当にほっぺにチューする人もいるけど）ので、これは正しい形。。。
When his dad says "Tu fais un bisous a maman" in French, Pierre comes to me and has his cheek on mine (when I'm standing, he does on my leg). It's the right way to kiss as greeting in France (some people really kiss on the cheek).

ちなみに、私がフランス語で言っても、ダメだったりしたので、やはり発音が悪いから？とへこんでいたのですが。。
He didn't do it when I tried to say in French...maybe my pronunciation is too bad...

このほど、日本語でも指じゃなくてほっぺを寄せてくれるようになりましたすべすべほっぺの感触に病み付きです。。。
These days, he does so (not his finger but his cheek!) in Japanese. It feels so nice with his silky cheek:-)

ことば Words

毎日いろいろなことがあるけれど、なかなかゆっくり書く時間がない。
I don't have much time to update the blog although there are many things to write about.

でも最近は、午前中は子どもと遊び（サイクリングと買い物が主）、お昼の後はお昼寝させて、その間に家事や仕事をちょこっとやって、おやつの後はじぃじとばぁばに見てもらって、ガーデニング。お風呂、夕飯、ピエ就寝、その後仕事…という感じの毎日。
These days, I play with my son in the morning (mainly cycling and shopping), then lunch and I do some housework and English work while he's taking a nap, have some milk and snacks, then gardening while Pierre's playing at my parents, taking a bath, dinner, putting him sleep and do the work again.

やはり最初のことばは「まんま」だったようです。ごはん時や食べ物を見ると、まんままんま言っています。フランス語で「食べる」は「マンジェ」だからついでに覚えるかしら。
His first word was "meal (mamma, in Japanese)" just as I expected. He repeats "mamma mamma.." at the table or when he sees some food. "Eat" in French is "manger", so I wonder if he can learn to pronounce it sooner.

あと、お風呂で「しゃーしゃー」言っているので、「それ何？」っ思ったんだけど、もしかしたら、「ぞうさん」かな？ぞうさんのじょうろはずっと前からお風呂で遊ばせていて、「ぞうさんぞうざん」って言ってるから・・・。パパとお風呂のときはフランス語で「あかいぞうさん」と言っているけど、やはり日本語に触れる機会が多いからなぁ。。。パパにフランスでいっぱいDVDを買ってきてもらったので、TVを所望されたときには見せています。
And I found that he says "shahhh shah" in the bath so I wondered what it was... I thought it might be "zo-san (Mr. or Ms. elephant)" An elephant watering pot was a gift from my mom and we used it since he was much younger. Carl calls it "l'elephant rouge" when he do the bathing of Pierre on weekends, but I'm sure he hears much more Japanese words everyday. Carl bought back French DVDs and I often let Pierre watch when he wants to watch TV.

TVと言えば、最近NHKの子ども番組に興味を持って、よく見ています。時々踊ったりもしている。その流れで、「えいごであそぼ！」が始まり、番組内で "bubbles"が出てきて、ピエさんも「バブー」とまねし始めてしまいました。。。私は早期英語教育させる気は全くありませんが。
When it comes to TV, he likes kids program on NHK and he even dances with them. After that, "Let's Play with English" started and they used "bubbles" in the program on that day...then Pierre repeated "bubble...". I won't teach him English in early stage, though.

3連休 Three-Day weekend

カールおじさんが、友達の結婚式のため１週間ほどフランスに帰るので、週末はいっぱい遊んでもらいました。

私たちも行きたかったし、招待されていたけど、さすがにコルシカは遠すぎる…。小さいうちにたくさん飛行機乗せるのも嫌だしね。

最近ハマっている自転車旅行。週末は天気もいいし、みなとみらいまで行っちゃいました。やっぱりアンパンマンミュージアムの近くはすごい人で、チャリで通り抜けるのは大変でした・・。次は別ルートにしよう。自転車だと、街を見て走れるので、楽しい。昔よく行ったあたりや、地元なのに初めて行った公園とか。

あと、世界最速レベルのクリスマスショッピングも済ませてしまった（笑）

１歳６ヶ月健診 18 months check-up

役所での１歳６ヶ月健診に行ってきました。午前だったので、朝早く起きて大変だったけど。
そして、台風接近中・・・。ある意味朝早かったために、無事に行って帰って来られました。
We took Pierre to the check-up for 18 months children at the city hall. It was held in the morning and I had to wake up early... Moreover, a huge typhoon was coming!! Fortunately, we came home safe before lunch!

カールおじさんも同行。２人のが楽だし、こういう行事？に積極的に参加してほしいし、本人も行きたがっていたので。行ったら、パパと３人で来ている人もけっこういました。いい傾向だと思う。
Carl came with us, too. It's easier with papa and I would like to take part in this kind of event. He wanted to come, also. And we found many children with their fathers and mothers. I think it's a good thing.

まずは、歯の話を聞き、それから問診、身体検査、診察、歯科検診と結構盛りだくさんだったので、何時間かかるかしら・・・と思っていたら、待ち時間含めて１時間半程度で終わった。歯ブラシ持ってこいって書いてあったのに、使わなかったし・・・。
First, we listened some explanation on teeth, then counseling , measurement, seeing a doctor, and then dentist. I was wondering how long it would take, but it was just about 90 minutes:-) They told us to bring a tooth brush but we didn't use it.

問診では絵本を見せられ、「わんわんどれ？」などと聞かれたのですが、人見知りのピエさんは、ずーーーっとパパに抱っこされたままイヤイヤ。私が絵本もってみせても、閉じてしまい、問診終了・・・。まぁ、家ではちゃんと言われたことを理解しているし、まだ発話はないけど、2歳までに出れば大丈夫とのことでした。
At the counseling, a social worker showed a picture book asking "which is a doggy?", but super-shy Pierre never left his dad's arms and kept shaking his head. I tried to do the same but he closed the picture book. Well, she said it would be ok if he can understand what we say at home. He doesn't speak but we can wait until he turns two.

身長は83.3cm、体重10.5キロ。相変わらず、日仏どちらの成長曲線でも、身長は上の方、体重はど真ん中あたりで、先生いわく「すらっとしている」。。。昔から体重が増えないのが悩みです・・・まぁ成長はしているから大丈夫か。頭のサイズは平均からぶち抜けてでかいです。
His height was 83.3cm and weight was 10.5 kg. His height is on the upper line of the average height graph for both French and Japanese, and his weight is on the very middle. The doctor said he's slim. It's been like this since he was born. Anyways, he's growing so it's fine! His head is far above the average again...

体重はかる時に、「体重計に乗ろうね〜」とパパが抱っこして乗せようとしたら、足を上げて着地しようとせず（笑）あの姿はちょっと笑えた。診察も歯科検診も大泣き。押さえつけていたので、やっぱり２人いてよかった・・・。歯科医師の先生は「声に力があるね」と言って下さったけど、耳が痛くなるほどの叫びでした・・・。すみません・・・。
When we tried to put him on the scale, Carl was holding his arms to put but he kept his feet up and never landed on lol. It was so funny. He cried so loudly in front of the doctor and the dentist... I thought we were right to come with Carl because we needed to hold him not to move. The dentist kindly told us that Pierre has a strong voice, but it was so loud that my ears were painful. Pardon...

何の問題もなく終了。よかったよかった。
来週は三種混合の追加があるんだよね…頭が痛い…。
Nothing turned out to be wrong! Great!
We have to take him to the doctor's next week for the final shot of DPT...sigh...

久々のおしごと Work

3年ぶりにお仕事することになりました。といっても、前にも何度かやった、書くお仕事なので、在宅です。私は子供が少なくとも小学校卒業するまでは、家にいたいと思っています。なので、在宅のお仕事は、大変だけど、私にとって理想的なのです。

I am going to do some work first time in three years. It's the one that I've done several times before which is to write an English workbook for young Japanese students. It's ideal for me because I can work at home because I want to stay home at least until my kids finish elementary school.

まぁ、お仕事はいつもあるわけじゃないけれど、今回は来年の教科書改訂にあたって、仕事がたくさんあるから、声をかけてもらったんだと思う。
This kind of work will not be a stable income and this time as school textbooks will be revised (almost renewed) next year so there must be a lot of posts this fall.

教育界から離れて久しいけれど、こうやって関われるのもうれしいし、勉強にもなる。納期も量もかなり厳しいのですが、がんばります！！
It's been a while since I left education field but I am so happy to have a kind of connection with it like this and I can learn many things through it, too. The deadline is too soon and there're too much work to do:-( I'll try my best.

そんなわけで、しばらくはインテリアいじりや、ブログのアップもできないと思うけれど、できるだけ家族に迷惑かけないように、うまくさばいていきたいです。
So, I don't think I have enough time to the new-house-installation or updating this blog for a while. I try not to bring any inconvenience to my family...as much as possible...
