Melee Everyday Behavior

なにげなく、いつものCD屋さんに立ち寄ると、いつものエモ、パンクコーナーに、なぜかMelee。
幻の(?)インディーズ時代の1stアルバムらしい。知らなかった。
ボーナストラックとPVに惹かれて、日本版買っちゃった。
I stopped by the CD shop I often go on my way home and looked up the shelf of "Emo/Punk" to find this album by Melee. I wonder why they're there... This is their 1st album which was released when they're indies. I bought the Japanese version for three bonus tracks and a video.

ああ、ライブの時に話してた最初のアルバムってこれのことか！確かに、Ryanだけ変わってないThey look so young! I remembered that they're talking about this album jacket in the gig at Ebisu.

The first track, "Got It All" doesn't really sounds like Melee of "Devils & Angels". Sounds heavier. But "The War" (which also comes with a video) could have been included in "D & A"album. "The New Day" is current Melee-ish, too. It was first released in 2004, but I don't feel much difference (not negatively).
Well, I like all of them! I'm so sorry that they're coming to Fuji Rock Festival, not Summer Sonic:-(

１曲目はなんかヘヴィで、今まで持っていたMeleeのイメージと違うけど、The Warなんかは、デビルス＆エンジェルスに入っててもおかしくない感じ。The New Dayも今の彼らっぽい。とにかく、聴いてみて全部好き！フジロックじゃなくて、サマソニ来てくれたらいいのにぃぃ。。。

CDの下に書いてあったけど、このCDの売り上げの一部を、Orangewood Palsという、オレンジカウンティの児童虐待と戦う団体に寄付する（した？）らしい。すばらしい。

They wrote under the CD that they'd decided to donate some part of the profit of this CD to Orangewood Pals which is an organization against child abuse. Beautiful.
