My friend in the states sent me a CD of Budapeg last week. She also introduced me about This Time Next Year, in which one of her neighbor boys plays drums. She also has a musician neighbor!

Budapeg is a three-piece high school boy band in California. They won a prize in a local high school band competition. They are 17-18 years old but their music and even their appearance look adult. I heard their band name doesn't mean anything but they just like the sound.

アメリカの友人がCDを送ってくれました。この前、This Time Next Yearを紹介してくれた人で、っていうか、ドラムの子が近所だったという理由だったんだけど。でもって、今度はまた近所の子が高校生バンドの大会で優勝したらしくて。それがこのバンド。名前は響きが好きなだけで、特に意味はないらしい。まだ１７、８なのに、曲も見た目もオトナっぽい（っていうか。。。ふけてる！？）。というわけで、将来たのしみ！

iTunesにCD入れたら、ちゃんとバンド名とか曲名が出て、GraceNote(CDDB)おそるべし。。。と思った。

ちなみに、This Time Next Yearも、CD屋さんで紹介文付きで平積み（？）されてて、おぉ！って感じ。
